Enterprise Retailer – Supply Chain & ERP Integration
Integrated ERP, WMS, OMS, and logistics partners to improve stock accuracy and operational resilience.
Challenge
A major UK retailer was experiencing significant stock accuracy issues across their multi-channel operation. Their legacy ERP, warehouse management system (WMS), order management system (OMS), and third-party logistics providers were poorly integrated, leading to overselling, delayed shipments, and operational friction. The organisation needed to modernise their supply chain technology stack while maintaining business continuity across 300+ stores and a growing e-commerce operation.
Solution
Chayse led the integration architecture and delivery across ERP, WMS, OMS, and logistics partner APIs. We designed a real-time data synchronisation layer that ensured stock accuracy across all channels, implemented automated order routing logic, and established governance frameworks to manage the multi-vendor programme. Our team worked closely with internal technology teams and external vendors to coordinate testing, cutover planning, and hypercare support. We focused on incremental delivery to minimise risk and ensure operational teams could adapt to new processes.
Outcome
Stock accuracy improved from 78% to 96% within three months of go-live. The retailer reduced overselling incidents by 85% and improved order fulfilment speed by 30%. The integrated platform now handles peak trading periods with greater resilience, and the organisation has a scalable foundation for future growth. Our hypercare support ensured operational teams were confident running the new systems, and we documented lessons learned to inform future technology initiatives.
